Tim Waters

Tim Waters is a Leeds based freelance geospatial developer. That’s developing things using maps, geography and data, and includes making applications, doing analyses and producing cartographic outputs.

He is interested in psychogeography – which is people’s perceptions of place and space.

Working mainly within the field of digital humanities, Tim also works with museums, libraries and archives on historical maps, developing new approaches to curating historical and cultural content, with particular attention towards open data projects, disruptive technologies and crowdsourcing initiatives.
